Denver Nuggets Championship Odds & Other Futures: November 2023

Fact Checked by Blake Weishaar

Allow us to remind you that the Denver Nuggets won 10 of their final 11 games last season. In May and June, when only four teams were playing, then two. We learned back then who the real MVP was, and he was from Serbia, not Cameroon.

So as you prepare for the upcoming 2023-24 season, remember just how powerful that Denver Nuggets team was in the Western Conference finals against the Lakers, then in the NBA Finals against the Miami Heat when Nikola Jokic was Finals MVP.

Latest Nuggets Odds: Championship, Western Conference & More

Despite their dominance, the Denver Nuggets are not currently favored to win the next NBA championship. That distinction belongs to the Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics, both of whom on the board at FanDuel Colorado at +550. The Nuggets are the third choice at +550, mostly because the competition has improved in the West.

However, recall that there are Colorado sports betting promos that could boost those odds, and in turn, your bankroll.

Current NBA Championship Odds: 2023-2024 Season

Oddsmakers like Caesars Sportsbook Colorado may be giving gamblers an opportunity for the Nuggets Championship Odds if this season plays out the same way last season did.

The thing is, all of the Nuggets' main competition in the West improved, and the Boston Celtics and Milwauee Bucks made big moves: Boston picking up Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday, and Milwaukee landing Damian Lillard.

Nikola Jokic MVP Odds

Because of his dominance in the NBA Finals, "The Joker" is the preseason favorite at sportsbooks like BetMGM Colorado to win the NBA MVP award for the third time in four years, and it is difficult to bet against him.

The guy came within two-tenths of an assist of averaging a triple double last season, something only Oscar Robertson and Russell Westbrook have done before.

  • Nikola Jokic: +430
  • Luka Doncic: +550
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo: +650
  • Jayson Tatum: +750

Nuggets 2023-2024 Season

The Nuggets return pretty much the same team that won the NBA Finals in five games, with the biggest departure being Bruce Brown's exit for Indiana in free agency; the biggest addition being Justin Holiday from the Dallas Mavericks. Denver finished last season 53-29, which was only the fourth-best record in the NBA.

That is because the East was weak and remains that way, while the competition out West most definitely got tougher. Finishing first overall is still the goal, and as we learned with Miami going from a No. 8 seed to the finals, the postseason is a whole different animal. But if the Nuggets stay healthy, their status as defending champs certainly makes team the team to beat.

Betting on the Denver Nuggets

This team was a terrific NBA Championship bet last preseason when they were +1800 to do something no Denver Nuggets team had ever done before: Win a championship

Those with clear crystal balls got paid handsomely, and the trick this year is figuring out if someone has caught up to them after an offseason of massive player movement brought Bradley Beal to the Phoenix Suns to make them good enough to begin the season as co-favorites with Denver as the second wagering choice behind Boston and Milwaukee.

Of the Top 10 teams on the FanDuel Colorado NBA championship odds list, 7 are from the West.
