Using Reddit data from user RemyPLambert, BetColorado.com found the primary and secondary rival of each NBA team with a sample size of 1,000 respondents. If a team was mentioned as a primary rival, that was 10 points. If a team was mentioned as secondary rival, that was five points. We then used the final points to rank the most hated NBA teams.

Denver ranks alongside Boston, the L.A. Lakers, Miami and Golden State — at least when it comes to the hatred of other fans. The Nuggets were listed as the primary rival of two fanbases, in Portland and Utah, scoring them 20 points. That point total put Denver in a tie for sixth, alongside the Golden State Warriors, when it came to leaguewide hate standards.
