Fact Checked by Thomas Leary

There aren’t a lot of elements of American sports culture that bond together fans and non-partisans alike quite like a good team mascot, which is something that the Centennial State has in droves.

Between the state’s premier college mascots like Cam the Ram at Colorado State and Colorado’s Ralphie the Buffalo and pro teams like Dinger from the Colorado Rockies and Rocky the Mountain Lion of the Denver Nuggets, the state’s mascot scene is second-to-none nationally.

When people are watching games, sometimes they are curious what the mascot of the team is. With National Mascot Day coming up on June 17, we wondered what mascots Coloradoans are looking up.

Utilizing Google Trends, BetColorado.com took a break from Colorado betting apps and looked at the search volume of the term “Mascot” over the last 12 months (June 2023 to June 2024) to find the most searched mascots in Colorado.
