Simplebet, a gaming technology company, has announced a deal with ClutchBet to power its in-game betting markets.

As a result, ClutchBet will be able to offer its bettors an expanded slate of real-time wagering opportunities for MLB, NBA, NFL and college basketball and football games. The Australian-based operator is currently a licensed Colorado sportsbook both here and in Iowa.

Bonus Bets Expire in 7 Days. One New Customer Offer Only. Must be 21+ to participate & present in CO. Gambling problem? Call 1-800-GAMBLER. Visit BetMGM.com for Terms & Conditions. US promotional offers not available in NY, NV, or Puerto Rico.

In-game betting, also known widely as micro-betting, has long been considered a high-growth opportunity in the U.S. It allows bettors to wager on the outcome of a specific play, such as an at-bat in a baseball game or a possession in either a basketball or football game.

“ClutchBet is committed to delivering the most innovative betting experience, and we’re excited to offer ClutchBet players in Iowa and Colorado the opportunity to more deeply engage with their favorite teams and players both locally and worldwide,” said Jake Francis, the company’s senior vice president for operations.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed in a release Simplebet issued earlier this week.

Busy Time for Simplebet

The agreement for ClutchBet Sportsbook Colorado and its operation in Iowa is the second for Simplebet in as many weeks. Last week, it announced a deal to partner with Hard Rock Sportsbook, which is available in seven states.

Simplebet is a New York-based company established five years ago. It has developed a wagering solution for sportsbooks that uses machine learning to provide numerous markets with the intention of turning any moment of an event into a betting market.

Because of that, the company says it brings “instant gratification” to the sports betting experience.

“Our short-form betting products are redefining the digital sports experience and we’re thrilled to be partnering with ClutchBet to offer these engaging markets to their users,” said Simplebet CEO Chris Bevilacqua.

Bevilacqua co-founded the company with Scott Marshall and Joey Levy. Levy has since teamed with boxer and social media star Jake Paul to create Betr, a $50 million micro-betting-focused sports betting start-up powered by Simplebet and currently available in Ohio and Massachusetts.

ClutchBet New to Colorado

ClutchBet is a new operator among Colorado betting apps, having debuted in the Centennial State a little more than a month ago. It launched in Iowa last September.

The sportsbook is owned by BlueBet Holdings, a publicly traded company in Australia. In addition to operating in Colorado and Iowa, ClutchBet also has market-access deals in place for licenses in Louisiana and Indiana. It also, though, is offering its technology platform to other companies that want to provide their own sportsbook.
